What is this I don't even.

I actually like the way this turned out. o__o; I was having a LOT of trouble trying to come up with something to draw and was feeling in the mood to draw (for once). So I asked someone on Facebook what I should do and she suggested I draw her characterization of Yami Malik ("Malik", for her). I was trying to come up with a pose and this popped into my head. I think I used about four to six pages of paper just trying to get the angle of the face and the pose right. xD; The hand became a problem after I'd gotten the angle of the head at least somewhat decent (WHY IS IT THAT HARD TO DO), and I didn't just wanna start over. I gave up on it for a few days and then suddenly busted it out during class to work on it, and the hand happened instantly, and so did the rest of the body. I am so pleased.

I tweaked details in photoshop as I inked it there, and am pretty happy with how it came out. The background will probably get fixed up a bit more, since I was rushing to finish so we could leave.

I also totally forgot to ink the arm yesterday, so when I thought I was done with the line art, I zoomed out, and... no. xD I immediately thought of *Yao-Ling and have an amputee version of this. I will have to mess with the coloring to match it up with a missing arm later -- I've got class in a few hours and I want sleep. x___x I'm most likely not gonna post that version on here, though. I might link it in the description after it's done. Who knows!
